PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

MATTA 5GR is a systemic insecticide that containing active ingredient from carbamate group which act as cholinesterase inhibitor.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Product used contrary to this label is an offense under the Pesticides Act 1974. Please refer to product label for directions for use.

Target Pest: Rhinoceros beetle

Crop: Oil Palm (1 to 2 years)

RE-ENTRY INTERVAL (REI): 12 hours

WARNING & CAUTION:

Harmful to Human: Harmful if swallowed. Avoid inhale vapour or mist. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Keep in the closed container after opening and store in well-ventilated, dry and cool area. Wash equipment thoroughly after use. Shower thoroughly with plenty of soap and water after handling.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear appropriate PPE when handling this pesticide, including gloves, goggles, rubber shoes, face shield and respirators (refer to Safety Data Sheet).

Harmful to Environment: Dangerous to fish and other aquatic organisms. Do not contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used container.

SYMPTOMS OF POISONING:

Acute Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, excessive sweat, excessive saliva, pupil shrinks, chest pain, cough, frequent urination, headache, dizzy, drowsy, confusion, tired, muscle tremors, loss of movement control, walk difficulty, breathing shortness, speech difficulty, paralyse, uncontrollable urination, convulsions, faint, coma.

Delayed Symptoms: No specific sign of poison. Seek medical attentions immediately if any signs of poisoning such as nausea, vomiting, stomachache, excessive saliva, sore throat, breathing shortness, chest pain, fast breathing, palpitations, sensory disturbances, redness on exposed parts, convulsions, coma or any health issues.

FIRST AID:

If on clothing or skin, remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. If in eyes, remove contact lenses, if present, hold eye open and rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting and DO NOT give anything by mouth. If inhaled, move to fresh air. Seek medical attention immediately with product label and product container.

Triple-rinse containers before disposal. Do not use pesticide container to store food.
